Organize PDF shows every page of a document as a thumbnail you can drag into a new order, rotate a quarter turn at a time, duplicate or remove. When you save, the pages are copied into a new document with pdf-lib rather than re-rendered, so text stays selectable, fonts stay embedded and images keep the exact bytes they arrived with.
Rotation adds to whatever rotation a page already had, so a page stored sideways and turned once more is saved the right way up. The last action can be undone, which matters most on a long document where one wrong drop is hard to spot. How to organize PDF pages
- Open the PDF Drop the file onto the page. Thumbnails render one at a time as you scroll, so a long document does not lock up the tab.
- Drag pages into order Pick up a page and drop it where you want it. The positions renumber as you go, so what you see is the order you will get.
- Rotate, duplicate or remove Each thumbnail carries its own controls. Rotation stacks on top of whatever rotation the page already had.
- Undo anything The last action can be undone, which matters most on a long document where one mis-drop is hard to spot.
- Save the document The pages are copied in your order into a new PDF and handed to you as a download.
Organize PDF pages: common questions
Does reordering pages reduce PDF quality?
No. The pages are copied as objects from the source document into a new one, so nothing is rasterized or re-encoded. Text stays searchable, fonts stay embedded, and an image keeps the exact bytes it had before. That is why the tool has no quality setting.
Can I rotate only some pages?
Yes. Rotation is per page, applied from each thumbnail, and it is added to the rotation the page already carried rather than replacing it. A page stored at 90 degrees that you turn once more is saved at 180.
What happens if I delete every page?
The tool refuses and says so. A PDF with no pages is not a valid document, so it will not write one, and you have to leave at least one page in place.
